In real life what are the advantages and drawbacks of this kind of feeder? Thanks in advance Irene. An extra small hole was plugged with a bolt. The bin had been in use for years. The hole was an extra for a mounting bracket I did not use. At some point the bolt rusted off. The ewes were being flushed and were used to corn. One morning I went out and had 2 dead. They were big as a house. They each had what appeared to be about 3 gallons of corn in them. The corn came out of the hole , if licked, 1 kernel at a time.
